Sia Partners, a leading international independent management and AI consulting firm, announces today the acquisition of Ethier, a management consulting firm founded in 1982, specializing in Regulatory compliance, Risk management, Operations excellence, Project delivery, Digital and Business transformation, with revenues of C$10m.
Ethier currently employs 50+ consultants in Calgary, Alberta and is the largest independent consulting firm in Alberta. It benefits from a client portfolio in Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Transportation and Government.
By integrating Ethier, Sia Partners strengthens its presence across Canada, with a team of 170+ consultants between Calgary, Montreal, and Toronto and a turnover of C$22m. Ethier Managing Partners Sohail Thaker, Jackie Poeckens and Ron Loborec will join the executive committee of Sia Partners Canada. Sohail Thaker will be heading Sia Partners’ Calgary office.
