Description du poste

One of our premier clients is seeking a certified Lean Sigma Green Belt. This contractor will provide technical and project support, belt mentoring while coordinating/designing team promotional efforts including SharePoint page and other site awareness. The successful candidate will support/lead project teams and strategic initiatives and assist in developing and delivering training activities.

Project Length: 18 months plus

Location: Hybrid-Frederick, MD 

Compensation: This role will compensate $80-$90/Hour 1099 or W2 depending upon years of experience, education, and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and support, mentoring as required to help support Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Support strategic initiatives
  • Assist in developing project selection/stewardship and training activities.
  • Work with the Management Team in the development and execution of Operational Excellence (OE) projects.
  • Provide a balance of technical and people management skills.
  • Help identify and achieve significant process/quality improvements through the OE initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on teamwork approach to problems, planning, and people associated with all aspects of the initiatives.

Compétences

  • Must have earned a Six Sigma Green Belt certification with formal training with experience in applying Lean methods, specifically demonstrating expertise in
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum of 4-6 years or more work experience as part of an operational excellence team required.
  • Excellent experience in process and value stream mapping.
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the principles and philosophies of analytical problem solving techniques along with a demonstrated track record of achievement.
  • Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical, scientific thinking and continuous improvement concepts to a wide range of practical problems
  • Exercises considerable latitude in the technical objectives of assignments.
  • Provides guidance to customer, corporate and site teams/ management based on organizational goals
  • Ability to assess and provide options to management for process decisions that have a significant impact.
  • Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. 
  • Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on programs and projects.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, effective presentation skills, and high competency with computer systems.
