Sia Partners strengthens its presence in Western Canada with acquisition of E2E
Sia Partners, a leading international independent management and AI consulting firm, announces today the acquisition of E2E, a boutique consulting firm based in Edmonton (city capital of Alberta, Western Canada).
With this transaction, Sia Partners confirms its leading position in the Canadian management consulting market among the Top 10.
With 25 staff members, it will generate C$ 6.3mm in 2022. It focuses on Change Management and Business Transformation and benefits from a client portfolio in Energy & Utilities, Transportation but also Government.
Carolann Regular, Founder and Managing Partner of E2E will lead the Sia Partners' Edmonton office and she will join the Canadian Steering Committee. “I’m thrilled to join Sia Partners and being part of a global network. I look forward to servicing my clients with new service capabilities. With the support of the group, I intend to build a Tier-1 consulting practice in Edmonton”, she says.
Sia Partners’ Canadian team surpasses the threshold of 270 consultants (including 100 in Western Canada) in 5 locations (Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver). Sia Partners is looking to build strong synergies with its Canadian markets and notably with the Calgary market. This transaction happens one year after the acquisition of Ethier out of Calgary.
“These acquisitions reflect our reading of the shifts in the energy and mining markets due to the new geopolitical backdrop. Our ambition is to strengthen our position in the mining sector, in Western Canada, but also in Western Australia, as we also recently opened an office in Perth”, explains Matthieu Courtecuisse, Founder and CEO of Sia Partners.
“The Canadian market is strategic for the group. Last fiscal year (ending June 2022), we generated C$ 32 mm of revenue, i.e. 146% of growth compared to the previous year. Our Target for FY23 is C$ 50mm. We will also open two new offices in Canada by the end of 2023”, says Matthieu Courtecuisse.
Beyond the management consulting capabilities, Sia Partners has also built an AI Excellence Center and a Design Center out of Montreal. The Group is also relocating Global Corporate Staff to Canada.
