Jeroen de Laat

Jeroen de Laat is Partner in Energy & Industry at Sia Partners. He has an MSc degree in Business Administration and over 20 years of experience as a consultant/project manager. As a Partner, Jeroen leads Sia Partners' Energy & Industry practice in the Netherlands. He has been a program & project manager on various projects through all phases of the delivery cycle (analysis, design, plan, build, and implementation). Throughout his experience, he has developed program & project management skills as well as in-depth industry knowledge of the Energy & Industry sector. These skills, combined with his enthusiasm, sense of humor, good eye for details, and in-depth industry knowledge, make Jeroen an experienced advisor for companies in the Energy & Industry sector. 

Jeroen joined the firm in 2011 as a Senior Energy Consultant, having already worked in Energy consulting for a few years. He was one of the first people to join the Dutch office and has contributed to the growth of the group in The Netherlands for over a decade. 

Jeroen has strong expertise in the energy sector, having delivered multiple projects in the supplier, trader, and grid operators domain. He has contributed to large business transformation programs in the triangle of Trade, Retail and Finance, covering core capabilities of Pricing, Forecasting, Data Analytics, and Reporting. The past few years have shown that his background is also very helpful in the DSO domain; Flexibility markets, Congestion management, and Grid planning activities. Jeroen is a IPMA-C Certified program & project manager.
