Job description

Contract roles are geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work.

Sia Title: Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor) 

Project Title: Program/Sr. Project Manager – Treasury Liquidity Management

Level: Mid-Senior

Project Length: This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 Months (with potential extension)

Project Hours: 40 hours 

Location: Charlotte or New York Preferred

The expected compensation range for this contract is $300k to $322k/ year . The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and align business strategy and objectives across change initiatives
  • Manage large, complex programs from front to back including tech requirements, design, build and test
  • Communicate effectively up, down and across the management chain of command
  • Identify program level risks, generate options and alternatives for client consideration and bring others along on the journey
  • Lead and facilitate management meetings and regulatory briefings
  • Design and drive productive work sessions on business requirements, technology design, and technology requirements, including preparing content, notes and status updates
  • Design presentations for business partners at multiple levels, including process owners, senior managers and executives, focusing on takeaways, answering questions clearly and at the appropriate level of detail
  • Ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor solutions to ensure project scope, schedule and budget track to plan
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to identify problems, engage others and come up with creative solutions
  • Make things happen; don’t wait for things to happen

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related work experience
  • 10+ years of industry experience working in Liquidity management and knowledge of Liquidity reporting
  • Experience with financial services products, mostly consumer and commercial banking products
  • Functional expertise in finance, risk, regulatory and especially the treasury function
  • Functional expertise in data remediation, data quality, data lineage, data management
  • Regulatory reporting knowledge especially FR 2052a, FR-Y 9, FR Y-14/15, etc.
  • Energetic and self-motivated. Candidate should have a strong intellectual curiosity
  • Financial analysis and strong quantitative background
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to drive project goals across functions with minimal oversight
