Job description

Contract roles are geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work.

Sia Title: Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor) 

Project Title: Sr. Trainer

Level: Mid-Senior 

Project Length: This is a temporary position with an expected duration of18 months (with potential extension)

Project Hours: 40 hours/ week

Location: Hybrid- Seattle

The expected compensation range for this contract is $140,000k to $156,000k per year. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.

Key Responsibilities: 

One of our premier clients is seeking a Senior Trainer responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for Microsoft products, both in-person and online. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching.

  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on productivity products, including but not limited to Office 365, Power Apps, and Copilot.
  • Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources and on demand training (Articulate).
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and tailor programs to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring a high level of participant engagement and satisfaction.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft product updates and industry trends to ensure training content is current and relevant.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to participants as needed. Curate learning literature, materials and exercises.
  • Maintain detailed records of training activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on Microsoft products.
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certification is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Power Apps and Copilot is desired.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with e-learning and virtual training tools.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles and environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to be on-site at the foundation when needed.
